Autumn Programs | Winter Sabbatical

Greetings, Beautiful Beings, Bienvenido! The Full Moon turned my world upside down, flooding me with longing, anger and loneliness. How are you feeling as the Moon wanes? What are you releasing?

Autumn (in my culture) is upon us! August 1-October 31. This is the final phase in the seasonal cycle. Celebrate the cool breezes! Are you in alignment with the season? Aspects of this season are last harvest, waning Sunshine, shifting attire with weather, rooting, self-reflection, journaling, shadow work, connection to spiritual world, and star gazing.

We have officially applied for our 501c3 status! This will allow us more flexibility and range in supporting, affirming and prioritizing genderqueer People Of Culture with our many liberatory programs and services. A reminder, I, kuwa jasiri, will be on sabbatical November 1-January 31. If you aspire to collaborate or need specific resources reach out NOW or wait till early Spring!

CELEBRATIONS

We believe it is very important to take moments to notice and celebrate the positivity and growth in life, oneself, relationships and community. How do you celebrate? I have a hot air balloon ride scheduled!

We got a career womyn, errand boi in our office! Roux (they/them) is supporting us in our around the town tasks. We are so grateful. This is currently a temporary position, although if it extends we will formally introduce them to you all. We are hiring for our Spirits Beyond Home Birth Team. Applications due January 31st, 2024. Liberation Meditation – Series began airing August. First episode Body Scan and second episode Protection. Follow our channel for 2-3 new episodes per Moon cycle through Fall.

Rest As Reparations Free E-Zine – We will be attending and organizing Zine Fest, not vending. Want to meet up, contact us?

Sober October – a 31 night opportunity to abstain from or harm reduce your vices and addictions. Along with reflection requests and alternatives.

Shut-In Pen Pals – Pen Pals are paper letter writing/art based relationships through the postal service. If you are needing an outlet for connection, one of our caring staff will write letters to you.
