Artistic Apothecary is raising funds for our dynamic services, to give our staff livable stipends, distribute resources and provide our founding steward space for much needed rest. Our grassroots collective care prioritizes mental health, spiritual wellness, ancestral wisdom, and cultural revitalization through zero waste practices. Why support our work? Our Strategic Plan and goals with support from our community:
~Support 1,111 People of Culture through distribution of:
-our Liberatory Network Resource List.
-900 ounces of hygiene formulas;
-500 pounds of resources such tools and supplies.
~Direct action to protect and sustain social change.
-Acquire land and legalize as a community land trust;
-Spiritual Birthwork Summit and all in 1 pregnancy team services;
–Integrate accessibility into our programs: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual;
-Educate about cultural celebrations: Kwanzaa, Afro August and Juneteenth.
~ Teach and use interdependent land-based techniques exemplifying win-win solutions and collaborative approaches to environmental stewardship.
-Aligning and curating with mission-based foundations, companies and organizations;
-Dineh Elders Teach In on Dry Land Farming Techniques and Seed Swap with 10 Diné plots;
-Using zero waste practices of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Compost.
~ Build alternative systems to achieve liberation for all including Nature. Nurture our community that seeks to break the cycle of power imbalance while creating sustainable economics and societal inclusion.
-accessible educational zine: Rest As Reparations;
–100 video tutorials on social skills, liberation meditation, reviews, and community building;
–9 Incarcerated Pen Pals and 70 letters.
~ Tend the soul wounds of intergenerational trauma. Strengthen self-determination, civil liberties, and basic dignities. Develop effective leadership.
-Ancestral return trip with 15 participants;
-Publish 5-part Rewilding Relationships series, including techniques for Radical Racial Reckoning;
-Returning resources such as money, skills, rest, cultural practices and land access.
