Moon Phase: Waxing Crescent
Sun Phase: before Summer Solstice
Prayer: Hope floods my heart!
Music: Connection – kuwa jasiri
Affirmation: Miracles engulf me in play!

Greetings!
Amy here! The moon is beginning to build itself up again, starting our Summer off with a blank slate. With a New Moon passing, the Waxing Crescent is a phase for the Seeds that we have planted to begin softening their shell so that they may take root and grow. Our Seeds grow mighty with nurturing, warmth, water. What are you building in this present moment? What nourishment do you require to build authentically? What makes an environment feel fertile for your ideas, energy, and giving? What softens your heart and gives you space to expand?
In our Founding Stewards’s Ghanian culture, Summer lasts from May 1 to July 31. Orienting to the seasonal shifts, I am eagerly receptive of Summer’s bountiful and bright energy. I am also working to balance this energy with shade, rest, and cool water. We are growing, we are nourishing, we are softening, we are blossoming! Take a pause. Aspects in balance with Summer’s energy are fruit, berries, beauty, vitality, outside, social, celebration, playful, silence in nature, change and transformation, Eclipse season, and the digestive system.
Energies out of balance with Summer are inside, anti-social, and serious.
