Community Researcher | Paid Position

Our grassroots collective care priorities mental health, spiritual wellness and Ancestral wisdom to affirm the societal greatness of genderqueer People Of Culture / People Of The Global Majority. We practice zero waste principles, returning to ancient traditions of land stewardship. As an Afro genderqueer + community led initiative we bolster basic dignities, access to leadership roles and truth telling. Since 2011, with our BY US, FOR US model, we center intersectionality, blackness, disabilities, houselessness, Nature and those incarcerated.

Main position roles:

Research foundations, organizations, cultural hubs, collectives and other community spaces for the purpose of collaborations, grants, fiscal sponsorship, land acquisition, resource return and networking. Organize information into text document.
Grant proposal editing, Digitizing paper zines into e-zines, making flyers and attending funding/donor interviews.
32 hours per Moon cycle. 4 phone meetings per Moon cycle.
For this remote position you must have a computer, internet and text file access.

Compensation:

17$ per hour cash stipend. 16% of earnings wellness fund. 4% of internet bill. Seasonal care package.
