Spring (in my culture) is upon us! February 1-April 30. Celebrate the return of the Sun with us!
I am so happy to inform you all that I finally found my work bliss. Some of you know I been battling with loving, finding joy in and feeling nourished by my job! I am now persuing my passion of Spiritual Birthwork and multiday affinity gatherings along with the same great programs that support our community.
I am taking a sabbatical (extended space from work) March 1-31. Please note that I will be unreachable during my sabbatical. A reminder to get your needs met before then or after!
We are now in our 10th year of service! Last years annual report will be public soon.
Afro Story National Recognition
We honor all those of African heritage. We know our story to be full of valor, victory, triumph, community, Nature based lifeways, autonomy and splender. We know our ancient stories and the tragedy of being stolen away from them. We persist in returning to our cultural roots. We celebrate Afro liberation work and the radical imaginations of our lineage. We cast the intention for affirming, inclusive, and transformative communities, accomplies/allies, work spaces, governments, traditions, affinity groups and relationships.
In solidarity with Black Afro Lives consider making a donation or volunteering.
On the topic of Afro excellence. We introduce our new Council Member, Janeé Harris (she/ her/ hers). We are thrilled to be working with her, learning from her and supporting her passion for collective community living!
Our Programs

Grow Together Vignette Musical we need folks to voice act our two vignette scenes and record them for our final Musical video. We pay 25$/each. We also need a director to put the 8 scenes (songs + vignettes) into a comprehensive story arch. We pay 50$.

Spiritual Care Packs sent out Feb 18 + March 30. Featuring spiritual items, herbal medicine, books/zines, art, rewilding tools, hygiene, and Seeds. Request a package by 2/14 + 3/23.

Community Offerings
Trans Lifeline February Microgrant. These name change microgrants go towards the cost of a legal name change & fees for issuing a new IDs. Due February 14th.
