We celebrate all the wonderful foundations and people that have supported us! As we shift our focus our funders change. We continue to curate high quality programs.

Winter 2021- Fall 2022 gave us ample blessings. Our annual budget was 40,390.16$. Our impact report is also made public for transparency. As we are totally accountable.

We held Liberation Coaching sessions with 3 people and 4 organizations. We aided 1,463 low-income People Of Culture, distributed 67 Care Packs, 678 ounces of herbal medicine, 51 pounds of Seeds, 938 ounces of hygiene, 93 pounds of supplies and food. We sent 6 incarcerated pen pals 21 letters. We gave 17 Nia Solidarity Stipends totaling 3,698$. We retained 19 volunteers instead of rotating through 99 volunteers like in 2021. Developing deeper relationships and holding less training sessions.

Our cost of care was 28$ per community member. Which has increased 4$ since 2021. A victory as this is our first year paying all our staff livable stipends for 100% of their labour. We also began offering our staff, 12% of stipend (earnings) in wellness funds. This is the first year none of us experienced burn out or over giving or giving beyond capacity. We held our first Leadership Summit focused on wellness, rest and ease. For 4$ per person we stabilized our genderqueer leadership team for longevity.

We are so grateful to do this work and have this strong vibrant network with you! Let us move forward boldly.

Reflection:

How can you, as a marginalized being, receive racial reckoning?

How can you as a privileged being initiate racial reckoning?
