Spring Programs | Blossoming

Greetings, Beautiful Beings, Bienvenido!

Spring (in my culture) is fast waning! February 1-April 30. The Moon is also waning. Celebrate the return of the Sun with us!

Find ways to sync up with the Season. I am choosing softness. Take some moments to cleanse (emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually) yourself and your surroundings. What are aspects of your life that you want to freshen up? In what ways can you give yourself love? In what ways do you want to grow? What edible foods are sprouting up in your yard/neighbourhood\area?

I am happy to announce that we have a new office assistance, yasmine (they/them)!! I am so grateful for their support. Many of you are aware of the foundational restructuring we are doing. We are in negotiations and drafting up contacts. More great news this summer!

April 15 my zine, Birds, Bees and Beyond, is going to be featured in the quarterly newsletter, The Fore Edge

We are ending Spring with a Give Land Reparations Campaign. Which goes live on April 21. This land acquisition will allow us a long-term permanent location that is collectively owned. On which we will establish a Grassroots Multi-Cultural Care Center.

April 22-26 we are going to Big Mountain to tour the 6 family plots in our Dineh Gardening Network and distribute resources. We may prepare the soil and sheer sheep depending on the families desires. Want to join us? For more information about our solidarity work check out our zine, Sacred Land. A how to for folks interested in becoming regular supporters at Black Mesa on the Diné Reservation.

Consider donating to our Indigenous Solidarity Program. Your donations allow us to travel to the reservation offering resources and labour. Dineh families in our Big Mountain Garden Network use Ancestral traditions such as dry land land farming. Donate via paypal or join our Seed Pack Giving Circle or purchase a Supporter Sticker.
