Greetings, Beautiful Beings!!
Tender Community! As we are connected through these webs of the internet, so can we learn about the connectivity around us in Nature.
Our Natural Corridors Connectivity, an interactive poster & colouring page, outlines the ways expansive habitat pathways create a vibrant ecosystem full of animals and elements. Along with how the severe loss of native plants and normalization of heavy chemicals strip the nourishment from the Land aiding global warming and bio-chemical diseases. Originally a ecosystem mural design, then a zine centerfold colouring page, shows the effects of deforestation on the pollinators.

At Artistic Apothecary, we prioritize the amplification of native, drought tolerant plants as a liberatory practice, that adds connectivity & canopy to our neighbourhood.
Join us 3rd Sundays this growing season at the African Heritage Garden.
Check out our rain catchment basins, shade structure, raised beds, hay bail benches, and saplings grown from Seed. Location of our rain garden is at Avenida Cesar Chavez and Arno Street (SouthEast corner).
In August, we are planting Mesquite Trees, removing Pricker vines, harvesting fruits/flowers, stewarding native species and connecting with like minded community. This is a great place to ask your questions, bring your identification photos and nerd out with pollinators!
Our Fall schedule (3rd Sundays):
August 17 – 9 a.m.
September 21 – 10 a.m.
October 19 – noon
