We started a patreon in Fall 2020, when uncertainty drove me to the internet, into the arms of community. Since then patrons have supported me during sabbaticals, during foundation grant dry spells and when life seemed to have all the answers.

Seed Pod Giving Tree nurtures a community dedicated to resourcing the labours of liberation. I am so grateful for the 12 current members and those who have dropped in over the years!!

Where does your money go?
Generous community contributions provide vital resources for me, Founding Steward Of Artistic Apothecary. As an Afro-Carribean, intersex community leader, regular aide bolsters my basic dignities, gives me access to stable housing allowing me autonomous space to participate in community and offer my labour towards transformative justice. This Seed Pod Giving Community exists for the purpose of replenishing and rejuvenating my mind, body and spirit.

Seed Pod Patrons Pay-What-You-Can!
This is a space for all members of our community + those who love us. To create an equitable society, those of us who have benefited from privilege must give away their money, labour, and other resources to marginalized folks. While learning what it means to be part of a community, engage in cultural accountability, divest from capitalistic, colonial and -ism based systems. It also allows folks with less to give a little (1.22$, 2.57$), that is pooled with collective funds.

Of course, we except a wide range of donation types outside of becoming a patron: monetary, one-time, in-kind, volunteer skills and supplies.
