Bright blessings! Beautiful Beings, Bienvenido!

Moon Phase: Waning Gibbous Moon
Sun Phase: early Spring
Music: Nitty Scott
Prayer: May you inhale fresh air.
Affirmation: I can make a difference.

We are preparing once again for our annual Indigenous Solidarity Trip.

Now I am back out at Big Mountain! This will be our second experience facilitating a solidarity trip. I want to share my love of Indigenous Elders with my community. We are so blessed to be extending our Indigenous Solidarity to include Hopi peoples, we recommend engaging with their documentary. The U.S. supreme court denies water rights to Dineh Nation, during our 16th year of service.

DO BETTER! We always encourage you to do better! Go beyond. A great way to do this is through Indigenous Solidarity work either mutual aide or racial reckoning (LandBack/Rematriation/Repatriation).

Our Big Mountain Garden Network is a social group where People Of Culture support Indigenous Hopi and Dineh families sustaining generational food security. Using cultural wisdom and dry land farming techniques to steward the land. A space where we share in plant care and farm maintenance. An encouraging and uplifting part of the Indigenous Solidarity Network.

We support 6 families with their dryland plots. All families have members that speak english and translate for older relatives. Two families allow us to overnight camp on their farm and use/bring off-grid accommodations. Be aware of the accessibility of this trip. Big Mountain is located northwest of occupied Gallup, New Mexico, a 5 hour one-way ride. We will be using lifted vehicles to traverse the bumpy dirt roads and sandy lots. We arrive self-sufficient, hauling our own water and food.

Our Indigenous Solidarity Trip is June 2-8, 2024. Contact us to attend by April 23, Full Moon. We welcome skilled participants; truck drivers and hole diggers. All People Of Culture / People Of The Global Majority may attend. Under 18 with chaperone. Financial Assistance + Carpool Available.

Our Fundraiser + Donation Drive is May 04 in Pueblo territory, albuquerque. Attend our 1st annual family event. We seek volunteers, entertainers, cultural cuisine and attendees. Stay tuned as announcements roll out.

***Please share this invitation with folks in alignment with our mission.

The Dineh have a legacy of frontline resistance against Peabody Coal and other extractive industries. Diné: Our Survival Is Bound To Theirs is a collection of articles and other resources combined to tell the story of the Diné/Dineh (Navajo) people and their 60+ years of resistance to preserve their culture and way of life. Moving and raw, this is a reminder of how our survival is intertwined.

My Sacred Land zine is a how to for folks interested in becoming a regular supporter at Big Mountain on the Diné Reservation.
