Farm Fundraiser | Community Announcement

We are launching a campaign to purchase the land we reside on and ensure the work of moonpence farm and the Serenus Herb Bank can continue for many years to come.

We’ve been chipping away at our huge land debt for a few years now, but every day we get closer to the ultimate looming deadline on our contract. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗲, 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 – $𝟭𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬.

Community support is what makes this project possible, and we know that our community will show up to ensure our work can continue.

Since 2021, with the support of our monthly members, 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝟰𝟵𝟮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 African &/𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸! That’s 1,918 lovingly hand-crafted herbal remedies mailed out across the so-called U.S. & Canada in just three years.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮: 104 care packages

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯: 186 care packages / 112 masks / $1,285 in direct mutual aid

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 (𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿): 202 care packages / 420 masks / $3,578.89 in direct mutual aid

We grow a portion of the medicinal herbs used in these remedies and continue to expand our crops with every season. We’ve done so much with few resources – just imagine what this work could expand into with more support!

For years we’ve spent the bulk of our time stuck in a capitalist feedback loop, working for others to make our monthly land payment. Any extra income has gone into the farm and we’ve lived without many “normal” creature comforts, like indoor showers, a full kitchen and more. We’ve mainly relied on monthly memberships (thank you!) and fundraising to cover farm build out.

Contribute to our land campaign, you are directly supporting Black & Native liberation, helping to keep our disabled & immunocompromised team housed on the land and ensuring the Herb Bank can continue its care work every month.
